A function of the Board at these retreats is to set goals and objectives for the administration to implement in the New Program year 2007-2008.

ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, WE ENSURE THAT FUNDS ARE SET ASIDE TO AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO AT LEAST TWO DESERVING STUDENTS FROM EACH ON OF OUR CAMPUSES.
These scholarships could make the difference between flipping burgers and having a professional job. I cannot impress you enough to take advantage of our in-house scholarship program designed especially for your students. Enedina, at the Community Resource Center, is compiling a list of applicants for the Scholarship Committee to review by April, 2008. If you have not done so yet, please fax scholarship applications to her right away.
May 2008: Ladies LULAC Council #346 Scholarship Banquet. We award scholarships between 500.00 to 1,000 dollars to deserving high school seniors who wish to continue with higher education. Students selected from your campus, will be notified and a copy will be sent to you. I continue to hope and pray that you are on the front line securing scholarships for your graduating seniors.
